We received a new award with our partners Vermont Electric Cooperative and Vermont Electric Power Company to build technologies for deferring or eliminating up to $80 million in capital investments needed to support the electrification of heating and transportation of the Vermont electric grid.

We look at emerging mechanistic as well as data-driven methods for large-scale grid optimizations necessary to enable the current electrification and decarbonization efforts. We also enlist the technology gaps in the field today from our discussion with industry partners. Paper available here.
